Garnet Necklace with "Twisted Wave” Silver Chain. 18in
This Garnet stumped me for quite a while.
The size.
The shape.
The color.
All phenomenal. It needed something as special as IT.
As soon as I discovered my “Twisted Wave” wrap, I KNEW I found it.
Starting with .999 Fine Silver wire and a simple wrap around the Gem itself, I created a chain of “Twisted Wave” links, and then interspersed with smaller Garnet Beads to give the chain some flexibility.
Because of the nature of the Silver Links, there is a some ability to mold the links to fit more comfortably around your neck.
The size of this Garnet is sensational. Large enough to attract attention if wearing it out to dinner, yet not so big that it looks out of place when wearing with your jeans to the grocery store.
The Shape of this Garnet is fantastic. A plump pear that on first glance COULD be a heart. Faceted shallow enough to lie flat on the chest.
The Color of this Garnet is extraordinary. That perfect deeper Red that in the right light looks different, depending on how it hits. Hence the different shades in the photos.
